Why have a registered builder inspect your builder?

Building a new home involves multiple trades, building systems and construction stages. Assessing how those components come together requires a whole-of-building perspective, not simply looking at one trade in isolation.

At Red Dog Property Inspections, new construction stage inspections are carried out by a Registered Domestic Builder – Unlimited, bringing broad building knowledge and practical construction experience to each inspection.

We independently inspect the work at critical stages, documenting defects, incomplete work and suspected non-compliance to help identify issues before later construction makes them harder to see or address. And we don't simply send the report and leave you to work it out. We discuss our findings directly with you.

• Whole-of-building knowledge

  Understanding how footings, framing, waterproofing, cladding, roofing, services and finishes interact, rather than viewing the project through the lens of a single trade.

• NCC and Australian Standards

  Assessment against applicable National Construction Code requirements, Australian Standards, approved documentation and relevant building requirements within the scope of the inspection.

• Defects identified early

  Stage inspections are a chance to identify defects and incomplete work while important building elements are still visible, before later construction conceals or restricts access to them.

• Direct builder-to-client feedback

  After the inspection, you can discuss the findings directly with the Registered Domestic Builder who inspected your project, not a salesperson or call centre.
